My first attempt at shading without the use of references. I'm trying simple shading for now, but I'm almost certain I messed it up somewhere, but hey, that's how you learn right? Lastly, I'd like to thank ACGamesage for helping me correct the little mistakes in drawing the human form, starting from Random Chick 1 to this one. Without him, my drawings wouldn't be half as cool looking.

this is great! i think the shading is amazing, the only advice i can give is that under the neck it's kind of rectangle-ish lol. that may be right but it just looks weird to me.
